its done

conclusion: a nice kit and ideal for a first resin kit, not too complicated in parts brakup and count. i have not done any measurements, but dimensions seem to be ok. there is one small area of criticism: the main wheelwell is too shallow, its center divider is missing, as are the actuators of the lower geardoors. i didnt feel like major surgery on the fuselage, so i left the wheelwell alone, the rest can be added with some strips of sheet and stretched sprue. cant vouch for the decals because i didnt use them.

steep learning curve with glueing resin and materials used to fill, but nothing i couldnt overcome with some patience.

thanx for looking

Maybe so, but it's still impressive work, Karl! It looks great, and I'd love to publish it on the website if you've permit me.

Very nice build!

I don't like this aircraft (build all KP kits in my youth, but the Yak-23 was not one of my favorites), but your model is :goodjob:
