lol - My "simple set up for photographing my models" is taking my right arm and clearing the immediate crap out of the way on my bench so I can take a picture.

I still use my SUPER basic Sony Cybershot, that happens to have a really decent macro on it. I really like it, since it is SO small and compact, great for close in macro shots. I have thought about a DSLRs but they always seem SO bulky in hand, and every time I feel the need to get an "official" nice camera set up to take pics, I seem to take less pics in my WIPs then seem to peter off fully, due to having to move said model to the photo booth.

Thanks Bill, it's mostly what I use but the box is better suited to 1/48th and 1/72nd planes. It can be a challenge with some 1/32nd.

Max, there are all sorts of sizes you can use. I have used this setup for 32 scale planes, but have a large light cube I use for bigger items.

That's funny Brian I used to do the same thing. I do have two nice cannons. Funny don't use them much still wonder why I have them lol. But with the third party pic thing. Bring out the gear set it up. Snap two pics load to computer then swear up and down trying two load them to the site I just don't bother anymore. Good idea there bill
