Steve Eagle
I picked up the Special Hobby G-50bis at the Nationals. After I got home today, I started looking at it. The kit looks pretty decent. The panel lines are well delineated- not too shallow or deep. It contains the spinners for the Italian birds or the Finnish- even though I got the RA version. There are two styles of cowlings that will allow for early and late series birds. The interior is fairly detailed, but it could be detailed more without great deal of work (look up the Werner Scheibling build in the Hyperscale site). I am sure there will be more input from you all.

Out2gtcha
Interesting..................... Wow, there really are some bizarre interesting schemes out there for it (going for now on the assumption this one is at least a fairly accurate representation of a real plane that existed) : Edited August 19, 2013 by Out2gtcha Alburymodeler

LSP_K2
Interesting..................... Wow, there really are some bizarre interesting schemes out there for it (going for now on the assumption this one is at least a fairly accurate representation of a real plane that existed) : Brian, that scheme is depicted in this book by La Bancarella Aeronautica. How accurate it is, I have no idea.
DoogsATX
I'm on a phone at the moment so can't go picture hunting, but there are actual photos for most of the markings in the Finnish boxing. The crazy schemes are real.
