Recommended Posts

Thank you ever so much.  I am humbled by your compliments.  I couldn't have done this without you.  One is only as good as those that support them.  Truly, you are the best.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mark

Thank you, Gents.

Indeed, Mike!

You betcha, NavyF4s.  This one will not go onto the Shelf of Doom.

Thank you, Craig.  I am, and I am.  I, and many others, have been staring at this for many years.  I am sure there are those as relieved to see the back end of this build as I am.  It took me a long time to be happy with this result.  The truth is I wasn't sure if I liked or didn't like the result until I was finished.  Once it was all together and I was able to step back and study it as a whole, I liked what I had done.  Luckily.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mark

This build thread is an absolute treasure trove of how to build the most stunningly detailed P-51. Glad you have taken the time to repost these images.

Antonio, these wheel bays are not accurate.  They are an early rendition.  I eventually redid them to better reflect the actual bays.  I'll track them down and post them later.

Sincerely,

Mark
