LSP_K2
...KevinHow you doing? How is the progress on this... The last couple of weeks have seen virtually no work done on any hobby stuff. It's just that time of year for me I suppose, spring and all that. I haven't even really been frequenting the forums all that much. It'll swing back into "normalcy" for me pretty soon I hope. LSP_K2
After a few weeks of ambivalence, I decided to spray some (but not all), of the sacks for this display, while I already had paint mixed for another project I'm playing with.
LSP_K2
Yep, and as soon as I mentioned the word spring, the temperature shot up to 91° here yesterday! In other words, a great time to be down in the cool dungeon.

LSP_K2
Kev, how is this coming? Dead in the water, so to speak. I'm presently working on a 1:48 Fokker D.VII for an upcoming contest, to be followed by finishing up my 1:32 Mig 21 for the same event.

LSP_K2
If I utilized my time better, I could get lots more done, but unfortunately I'm now running out of time to get the D.VII and Mig 21 both finished by September the 8th. After that, all will return to my normal chaotic state. Edited June 15, 2012 by Typhoonattack1 Ads
LSP_K2
Now this is really cool. While straightening up down in the basement here, I found this metal Band-Aid container, with all of the 1:72 items for this dio that I'd presumed to have been long lost in my move a few years ago. Not that these items represent a great capital expenditure, but at least I won't have to buy and paint them again now. I'm a happy guy! ringleheim
Any updates Kevin? I just found this thread and went through all 11 pages! Really neat project and the build was coming along so nicely until it all went dark! Have you seen this documentary yet? Might get the creative juices flowing! LSP_K2
I believe that's the same as what was running on Netflix recently, so yes, I've seen it.
LSP_K2
OK, never saw that one, but I'll watch it now, for sure. I really wish Revell would follow their other big 1:72 subs with a type XXI, now that would be awesome. ringleheim
