This could be really nice and VERY Big!

Hope everyone will wait until they've got it in their hands before any constructive criticism if any is needed this time!

Perhaps we can now be Willem Defoe and all go "Downtown"

Hope the shrikes will be up to it too.

I just hope they get the inboard wing leading edge correct. All of the other differences between the A-6A and A-6E are relatively easy to fix if they get details of both airframes confused. The inboard wing leading edge, which is the biggest difference (physically) between the two versions would be a pain in the rear end to fix!

Time to bust out my VMA(AW)-242 references!

Good news!

The release of the A-6A for the end of the year has been confirmed by IPMS Philipines! The reviewed all the CAD drawings and are waiting for the test shots...

Good News indeed!

Like Phil I hope they have been listening to the "constructive cristicism" that has been offered.

I agree D. Roof if they will just get the "basic airframe" correct we can handle the rest or the AM Manufactures will.

I'll have to study the inboard leading edge as I didn't know that was where the biggest difference was.

I love this hobby; it is non stop learning!

Here you go:

For what it's worth, Fujimi got this right on their 1/72 A-6A and A-6E kits!

Thanks Dave

I thought that was part of the re-winging with the composite wing.

Now I know better, still learning.....any idea what it's function was?
