geedubelyer
Hi Barry, nice job on the open bay. It looks as though you solved your wiring bundle conundrum? May I ask, did you anneal the copper wire to take the spring away before you clumped them together? Cheers.
Guest Peterpools
The detailing and wiring in the electronics bay looks brilliant. Keep 'em coming Peter
Barry
First thanks again for the kind words! Not much of an update but I did get a little done. Touched up several areas added cable to the next to last LRU on the right. Added retainer nut to LOX Bottle and tidied up odds and ends. Thanks Maru, I actually grew up literally just up the road from the area known as Tara in Margaret Mitchell's novel; no kidding! I am American by birth and Southern by the grace of God! Barry D.B. ClumsyDude
Barry, that's phenomenal work on the bay. Amazing detailing and incredibly convincing, even with the super close up. Wow. Jim
Barry
Short update. Working on the RH Avionics Bay and looking for opinions. I have the Aires Avi Bays and really like the 3D of the resin parts but the bay itself was not to my liking not to mention how difficult it would be to paint. I like the Eduard painted PE but it is sooooo 1D. So I cut the individual components out of the Aires set and placed them into my bay. I can detail them with the wiring and additional detail as well as paint them. I am leaning that way but have pictured both for you consideration.I will retain the Eduard CB Panel as the Aires are unusable! Aires Eduard Your thoughts? Barry
maybe use some of the eduard component and add some 3D knobs and such to them? I used that method on the LH Bay and it looks pretty good . I was thinking a little more 3D but if I do then I will have to redo the LH Bay.
