I think 15% is the threshold for changes to be considered 'Transformative'. -

All this talk of how the molds and the IP are separate entities is nuts. How do separate abandoned physical property from the IP? You can't. So, if one aspect is abandoned, it's ALL abandoned in my book. PJ should have just paid the bill, instead of ignoring them. -
That's OK. I found it, the artist is Julien Lepelletier.

Radu may very well be right, the molds may have been in an incomplete state when WnW closed down. If I, as the machine shop owner, heard about this, u would have stopped work too until everybody was on the same page. Seeing as how PJ never responded to any if the attempt to reach him and resolve this, I think it only natural that the molds were considered abandoned and flogged to Border. Maybe the mold maker could come up with a (huge) storage fee number, make PJ think twice about pursuing this. -
CRAIG!!!!!!

What investment? They never paid for the molds, so they walked away from any other monies spent. -

IIRC,the Jeep element that got Tamiya in trouble was the trademarked 7-vertical slot grill, which only Jeeps can have. -
I'm thinking that you'd use an HK B-17F kit as a starting point, and take it from there.

FWIW, Rodney Williams did an article in FSM some time back showing how he sands and polishes his crap canopies into styrene gemstones, so to speak. -
Is the howl similar to the F-104's?

People continually talk about what Border is contractually obligated to do for WnW. That same contract specifies how much WnW pays Border. Why is it that one party can break a contract, then hold tge other to its terms? In the US, we have mechanic's liens. You don't pay for the work done to your car, it can be sold to cover costs. -
Thanks for your thoughts, guys. I think Dave is onto something too. I noticed after posting that the "scoreboard " on the fuselage of the BUFF is empty, with no mission markings painted on yet. So, maybe this is the very first captive flight?

Can anyone tell me why the landing gear of an X-15 might be down while mated to an airborne NB-52? As I understand it, the gear was raised by hand, and blown down, but only after release from the mothership.

You need to watch out for the particular airframe modeled- A3Js intakes had straight edges on the outboard side, but concave curves on the inboard edge. Early RAs had outboard edges that were convex in profile, and still concave on the inboard edges... the last batch of RAs, the 156 series, had intakes like yours.

Wingnut Wings Lancaster to be released by Border Model

I don't have the HKM kit, nor would I get the WnW kit, but if I had to choose , I would go with HKM. Why? I used to be impressed with kits that have an insane parts count, but, at this point in my life simplicity is starting to win out over mega detail. It also increases the likelihood that I'd have more than 2 finished kits on my shelf before I check out. -
It is very large. Mine is in storage, somewhere, and is yours if you want it, Jack. It weighs a ton, you'd really need to think out the landing gear to support it.

I think Spencer Pollard subscribes to the Spanish School method, google some of his work to see if it's for you. EDIT;Here is a sample. http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/spanishschoolcockpitssp_1.htm

I am very glad you and yours are doing well. My whole family had it in April, it's no joke. I hope that you do not suffer any long term effects, they can be annoying at best.

Not being up-to-date on all things F-16, what makes this variant the best dogfighter, even amongst other F-16s?
