  1. An N-1 with a Holley? What's not to like? Bob
  2. This virtually guarantees Tamiya brings out a Razorback Mustang before HK or ZM so it's all good in the end. Bob
  3. MBK-USA had a test shot of the HK Models Lancaster and another shop (that I too thought was HK Models or a representative) had a Lancaster test shot as well so there were actually 2 Lancaster test shots floating around. I dry fitted the fuselage and it fit like a dream; should be a great kit. Bob
  4. And here's a few more. Many of you are represented here so stand up and be recognized! The Dora and He 162 were both built by the same person and were awesome. I think he also won Best Aircraft with a Lysander 1/48. I'll put some more up later. The winners have been posted as well . http://svsm.org/gallery/phoenix2018 Bob @ Victory Models
  5. I had to start with this one even though it's not 1/32. I haven't seen any mention of it because I think he got there pretty late on Friday but yes, the Millenium Falcon would hover above the base as Han Solo gave his famous "You haven't heard of the Millenium Falcon?" speech. Apparently using Rare Earth magnets in the model and the base? Everyone around there was dumbfounded. Bob @ Victory Models
  6. Here's a couple overall shots of the massive 1/32 turnout. Doesn't even include the WWI stuff. Now that I fig'd this out I'll see if I can add some more individual pics Bob
  7. Oh well-I've tried numerous times to upload images and it doesn't take. No idea, I've been doing this for years and tried Photobucket, Imgur, Flickr, and others and nothing seems to work. It was nice seeing/meeting everybody at the meet and greet. Hopefully we can do it again in Chattanooga; that one should be gangbusters. Bob
  8. I'm amazed at the number and quality of the large scale turnout. Can't recall ever seeing so many 1/32 kits at National (or any show for that matter). Kudos to all. Hope to get some pics up soon. Bob
  9. Here's a nice scratchbuilt conversion of a Tamiya Spitfire to a Seafire 47 with fantastic drawings. Actually if you peruse this person's site there are a bunch of fantastic builds and his drawings seem pretty darn good. Not aware of any specific conversion sets but others may know more. Hope this helps, Bob http://www.geocities.jp/yoyuso/spit47/spit47e-1.html
  10. Phenomenal paint work-it looks so smooth and not grainy (like mine haha).
  11. I'd like to see the B-26 Marauder. IIRC it was one of the original kit mentions way back when (before becoming HK). The B-24 would be most welcome, too.
  12. I think an F-5 and/or T-38 family in 1/32 would be a license to print money but that's just me.
  13. Per the advertising board at the Nationals it seems the A-3 will be in the "basic" series (less parts) and the A-4 in the "standard" series. I don't recall seeing any mention of a new Dora, though.
  14. One of my all time favorites, great job. Bob
