The cockpit is looking awesome Mal. I like the differing leather tones that you've chosen.

Those dive flaps look great. Looks especially clean, I'd have glue marks all over myself and the flaps.

What a beauty, and hopefully their plans for annual release means that my dreams of a Pr.1C will come true.

That's not a Talon!
Awesome start Pete. Really like the cockpit details.

Not sure to wait for the decals, masks or 3D printed foils 🙃

I imagine it would have to be full coverage decals. Might even be doable in panels like the original has been beaded. But then again, I've seen guys hand-paint those insane Mi-24 airshow paint schemes, so anything is technically possible with enough time and determination.

I wonder how one would get one out of Russia and the currency exchange might be problematic.
Multiple eBay sellers across former Soviet states. I've ordered TempModels stuff from a seller in Armenia

Fantastic looking linen surfaces Mike! I think it's going to look fantastic when done.

Good luck with the PE origami of the dive brakes. It will be effort well spent when it's all done though.

I think that with the advent of 3D printing, it's way easier to produce a prototype to build interest and hype, but scaling it for full production and breaking it down into an easy to assemble kit is the challenge. Hence why we see so many kits appear, then go dark for months/years until an eventual possible release.

There are already 2 Su-34 kits available in 1/48 (Hobby Boss and Kitty Hawk). Admitted they are not exactly known for accuracy..
The Kittyhawk one is closer, but it still needs a bunch of help and detail. This one is supposed to be as close to perfect as is possible right now.

Yes, it's their Gloss Black shade, and it's a beauty. Also comes in a larger 18ml bottle.
