7 left. I'm on the fence. Did any of these versions have the field-applied green paintwork or just the boring (to me) overall light grey?
LIGHT GREY? Oh boy you're going to open a topic.........lol.
There are green/mottled ones for this one, so don't let that stop you. This is about $50 less than anywhere else (unless you go the Japan route).

Amazon is usually about 10-20% higher on most kits, but sometimes they surprise you if you keep your eyes out. I just got the 5c from Plaza Japan for about $78 shipped, so this is a pretty good deal.

Love deals like that. I was holding out for the Border Zero, but at this price....

Thanks Thierry----I'll give it try. Like I said, they look great. I don't like PE and the HGW ones look great but are a bit tricky to assemble. I kinda stocked up on the Finemolds, so I'll give it another try

Picked up a few sets (RAF, US, Luftwaffe) in 1/32 at Plaza Japan. They look great, but I'm having issues with the lap belt----they seem far too stiff to fold over the edge of the seat bucket. I tried hot water soak, but no luck---it finally snapped in half!

surprised the sales of 1/48 Zeros were meant to be disappointing though - I thought everyone raved about them?
I'm surprised also. I have both kits and they are VERY nice.

Do you primer after burnishing?

I'll give it a try quang!

Not having good luck with these PE and film combos. Seems very prone to scratching (especially bezels) and revealing the brass underneath. Primer (tamiya) doesn't seem to help much.

I’m not seeing any description that mentions them being included here or here: https://www.themodellingnews.com/2024/02/a-35th-scale-zero-akagis-bridge-from.html
Cheers, Tom
I haven't see anything but the art. Futons are shown in the Kate combo, but are incorrect for the PH version. The Zero combo shows what appears to be a MIdway scene (with futons) which would be correct-----so maybe....?
Strangely enough, the 1/72 version appears to come with futons

I see there's a Zero/Akagi bridge coming up. I noticed the bridge has futons this time....

Splatman…. I would certainly be in for a set! I did find an old thread here where this has been quite an issue. If I can’t find something then I might have to crack out the Milliput!
I'll check my molding supplies. It's been a while....

Mmmm. I have two of these unbuilt. Maybe I should mold up a little silicone and make some copies (for personal use of course.

Was going to order a few sets from Chris, only to discover the site is gone. Anybody hear anything?

Yes, I was surprised by the quality of the rubber tires-----much better than Trumpeter, etc.
