  1. Hmmm...I don't have the kit but from the photos it sure looks like a short-shot fuselage.
  2. I should have them, but am not at home now. PM me the second week of April and I can scan them for you.
  3. Cockpit interior: RLM 66(very dark grey) Other interior areas such as wheel wells, gun bays, etc: RLM 02(green-gray), although late war some areas such as wheel wells could be natural metal. Guns should be gun metal color which can vary due to light and film. I use a dark grey rubbed with graphite and maybe a coat of clear blue over it.
  4. Q. 4 I don't have any specific knowledge of P-40's, but in general most early WWIi aircraft wheel wells could be YZC or underside color, depending on whether the a/c went through an overhaul/repaint. They typically used the underside color for everything in that case rather than mask and paint the different paints. They were typically in a hurry. I do make it to some Seattle area shows, but it has been a while. I don't think I will be back in time to hit the Spring Show, but am planning on hitting the June show in Port Townsend. BTW, the McMinnville P-40K is done up in Ken Jernstedt's Flying Tiger A/B so that might have thrown you.
  5. BTW, here is the URL to the P-40K details photos on the P-40 site you linked to. The link on the site was incorrect: P-40K detail pics. Unfortunately, I don't know if they will help much. I do believe a 'K' is closer to an 'E' than a 'N' detail-wise.
  6. I can't help much right now as I am in AZ, but the Evergreen Aviation Museum at McMinnville, OR has a P-40K on display. Unfortunately they don't have much online: Evergreen Aviation Museum. I won't be back in Oregon till 2nd week of April.

Nice, Doug! Looking forward to seeing it finished!
  8. Wow! Is that 1/8 or 1/10 th scale? That is truly LSP! The 1/24 MiG-25 is supposed to be a regected casting from molds of the a/c intended for film use in the movie "Independence Day." It needs about as much restoration as detailing added. For instance, for storage it was roughly cut in half! It is in the stash for some time in the future when I get the nerve up to try and work on it and/or get tired of the huge box taking up so much room!
  9. I have a resin MiG-25 in 1/24th scale, but it will take more work than the Revell 1/48th kit to bring to shape!
  10. Looks great, Kevin! The new paint looks very good against the base, too!
  11. Wow, that Hunter is really looking great, Phil!
  12. Looks to be available. Master Details He111Cockpit Costs more than the kit, though.

Sorry Bob, but that was not a link!
  14. Hmmm, looks different! I do notice the instructions call for a 74, 75, 76 that look like includes the pilots name, yet I don't see those three numbers on the decal sheet? Also, the cover sheet shows a white area that the Korean characters sit on, but the decal placement instructions don't?
  15. Yup, Great Models is showing it for $40 HERE, and they also have the He-111 for $65. These are both Revell Promodeler new releases.
  16. FYI: not only did Trumpy announce a 1/32 Ju-87A, but also a 1/24 Ju-87D. Who knows when it would come out(if at all), but they did list it as "future."
