Love it!

Cockpit built so halves can go together. That allowed for today’s “ta da” moment. Filling and sanding ahead for sure, but I’m very happy

Amazing! What a challenge! -
Congrats on the publication guys. I won't scratchbuild another Fury, but if I did, this would be great. Joking aside, I bet it applies to the General challenges and I should get it it! (update. I got it!)

Coming up on 6 years. It’s fairly blue and most big errors are corrected. Still lots of scribing to do. Ughhh. in other news I’ve been sailing this summer and last week I sailed with this guy (Mike Overton) I had never met (friend of friend). Apparently, His father was an ace with David McCampbell’s famous Hellcat Squadron VF-15. Lt. Overton is pictured among other pilots who combined to total 310 aerial kills in just 6 months. Overton is front row looking down. McCampbell’s Plane behind them (photo cropped). I’d love to find reference to his plane and do it in 1/24 with the Airfix kit I have. I’m really taken by how amazing the Hellcat was now that I can feel its history a little more intimately.

Well done! Mach 2 is a world I'm in. Doing most of the Dryden 50's era x-planes and Mach 2 really have it going on. No real complaints. Glad you enjoyed this.

Very very cool. You can't keep a good plane down!

Fantastic. This scale so rarely does the what if's, prototypes and x-planes. Great to see them come alive. I started down the track of the Skyrocket XF5 but turned around when I could sense I might lose interest in the long run (converted project to my S2 Tracker). Perhaps if I enter a 3D printer-at-home phase like you have, I'll give more attention there. Mmmm. X-3 Stiletto???

Love it. Looking great! A friend of mine is building this in 1/72 and shares the joke that the only thing devastating about the devastator was what it did to the crew that flew it.
