  1. I'm so glad to see you back on this one, and with so much to report!
  2. Same here, thank you so much Gaz! That was a fantastic look in the box and well worth the wait. I contacted the team a few days ago - Richard very kindly replied but unfortunately explained there were only enough prints available for the pre-orders. However a very kind member of this forum has offered to send me a spare from their order!!
  3. And, of course, I manage to get back into work and get my first paycheck after the pre-order period has closed, missing out on that lovely Darryl Legg art print. I'm hoping one of my countrymen will be willing to part with theirs!
  4. Smiling and shaking my head in admiration. Truly remarkable.
  5. This press release has been circulated in the last hour by the Reno Air Racing Association: A further article has been published here: After a life spent admiring the event from afar I was entertaining the idea of getting to Reno for the 60th anniversary next year, but now I'm investigating how possible it is to get there this September. Lots of emotions right now.
  6. I'm really enjoying this and, as a Swiss Venom fan, am very curious to see how you tackle the Pinocchio nose. Every update is a delight to read and see. While being conscious of "Zacsplaining" (as my friends call it!) the Goblin and Ghost have a considerable size difference so I'm not surprised the Revell parts don't fit!
  7. Truly incredible. I'm smiling and shaking my head in amazement. I keep thinking it's a reference photo and then I realise it's yet another image of the model!
  8. Gorgeous work Bill! I'm really enjoying your updates.
  9. Warbirds/preserved aircraft are my focus so I'm very excited to follow along with this!
  10. Absolutely fantastic, I'm in love! What a terrific project and I'm enjoying your extra detail.
  11. To paraphrase someone (I think it was Teri Hatcher in Seinfeld): it's real and it's spectacular.
  12. For what it's worth, here's Mk.XIV NH799's rudder:
  13. Excellent. I'm excited to follow along with this! The RNZAF retired its P-3 fleet in the last few weeks so I need my fix!
  14. I wish we had a "WOW" reaction emoji - this is spectacular! Congratulations on a well done and very atmospheric build!
  15. I wish I had an answer, I certainly didn't mean to put a tiger among the moths(?!) but I spend so much time around ZK-BEF that I'm increasingly noticing the shortcomings of the kit as I build it and hoping my own experience will benefit from the work done and shared by others.
  16. The added detail in the wheel wells is sublime, lovely work Sasha!
  17. We have an existing thread for these kits (including Richard's email regarding release dates) here:
