  1. Fantastic build! Well done.
  2. Craig, add some blue to the black to make the black not so black. It's a little trial and error. Ferry
  3. That's a very nice cowling. Good job.
  4. Nice progress Brian. Maybe I'm a little bit late but have you considered this kind of batteryclip for the 9V battery. It uses almost no space and easy removable formchangingbthe battery.
  5. Good start. I will sit back and follow this build.
  6. Great build and fantastic scratchwork.
  7. You can say that again It's a pitty your printer isn't up to the job. Good luck with the engines
  8. Great build! I love your background to, looks real nice.
  9. Tuesday I sent an email to Kitty Hawk asking if I could buy a spare sprue. Yesterday I had an email back with the comment that I can get the sprue and only have to pay the transport. I think that is great service!! Thanks Kitty Hawk. Something other manufacturers can take as an example.
  10. Great Brian, thanks. I will email him this evening.
  11. It looks great but I have a question. Are you sure the woodgrain on the leading edge is in the good direction? I don't know for sure but in my opinion it's real difficult to bend wood in this direction.
  12. Thank for the tip. I will certainly try this. The switches are in the eduard set. See number 36-37-38. You bend these in an U-shape and place them through the holes in number 6. Behind this is part 5 as a backplate. I then bend some switches in different positions.
  13. I was a little rough with my windscreen for the Kingfisher so it cracked. I want to email Kittyhawk to ask if I can purchase a new one but where-ever i look I can't find an emailadress. Does anyone know how to contact them? Thanks in advance, Ferry
  14. The last fews days I was bending, glueing en soldering PE. I love the stuff! First I made the parts for the MG The MG is almost ready, all i need to do is the visor. Then I went on with the bombs and the pylons. The kitparts look like this. Eduard supplied these extra's And when you are ready it should look something like this. And the bomb looks like this. The next step was to glue the windshield. I had the idea of polishing everything and protect the shield/canopy with gloss for a real shiny result. I think I have to practice a lot more to prefent this. I am such an idiot so now and then. I will contact Kitty hawk and ask if I can buy a new sprue. Ferry
  15. Always nice to see how you skin the complex forms. Great work.
