  17. Hi Nick, We will include two options to achieve the markings :- 1. Masks for the shields and Eule text with a decal overlay for the scroll and eagle 2. Decals for shield (including the eagle), scroll and Eule text This approach will ensure that the colours are consistent between the shield and the Eule text. I'll search our limited Ju-88 references to see if I can unearth some details of this aircraft for you. Best regards, Ian
  18. Ross. That's a nice scheme - we'd be very happy to do paint masks for you for that scheme. Send us an e-mail at this address if you are interested. Best regards, Ian
  19. Nick, We have designed the artwork for the 3./KG77 insignia you require (Shield, ribbon with text and Eule text). We can supply this as a mask and/or decal and will of course will include it with masks for the other markings (national insignia, codes) on this aircraft. Best regards, Ian
  20. Ron, I think that the method you have described will work but involves a lot of work and some unnecessary steps. Here is how I recommend you approach the masking & painting:- As the real aircraft was sprayed (High Speed) silver I assume that you will be using Alclad Aluminium and not one of the "high shine" shades (Chrome, Polished and Airframe Aluminium) so a gloss black primer coat is not required as Phil mentioned. Prime model using your primer of choice (I use Alclad grey primer which is wonderful stuff) Spray model with Alcad Aluminium Apply masks for roundels, serials Sqn leader pennant and fin flashes Spray masked markings per instuctions replacing the blue mask elements of the roundels on model when the blue paint is dry/cured. Remove outer roundel masks leaving the roundel masks in place (totally covering the painted roundels) Apply red stripe masks Remove the white mask element of the Cross of Lorraine marking and spray the white of this marking replacing white mask element when the white paint is dry/cured Remove the red elements of the stripe and badge markings from the model Spray the red over the Alclad Aluminium (the silver will provide a perfectly good base coat for the red) Remove masking when red paint is dry. Regarding the "sandwich" effect mentioned by Johan and Phil - this is a common problem with masks that are misaligned when applied or re-applied to the model. The method we outline in our instructions (applying the complete mask to the model and removing the lightest colour element, spraying and then replacing the mask element before removing the mask element for the next colour) eliminates this issue because the mask alignment is maintained at all times during the masking/painting process. To use Phil's "Blue Peter" flag on his superb Hurricane to illustrate my point (I hope that you don't mind Phil) - There would have been no white border to the flag if Phil had applied the whole mask and then removed only the white element, sprayed the white portion and replaced the white mask element before removing the blue mask element and spraying the blue. I hope that the above helps Ron and anyone else using masks. Best regards, Ian
