US Navy, 2000 / 2015 era, roughly
the challenge was to get it inside

coming next is a russian pilot in summer flight suit, to match with our previously released ground crew.


Note that the flight suit has a sand and a blue version, so you have the choice of color. Geared for ground attack, without G-suit

I continue with the french mirage 2000 with an additional pilot, checking plane intake or exhaust this time (the mechanics is already in the catalogue)

 
BTW, I modified the french LA-100 helmet which is often seen hanging on top of the ladder, with a hard visor instead of the thermoformed one, a bit tricky to cut out.

We have now 2 additionals modern french Armée de l'Air figures ready, a pilot and a mechanics, both thanks to the 3rd escadre, many thanks to them :
 

at our usual scales, 1/32, 1/48, 1/72 and even 1/144 this time (1/32  & 1/144 on the picture)

Both were colorized with a 4 views around for each, as reference for the painters :

As the KH mirage 2000 is now out, I added a 5 view colourization in Reedoak website to the french armée de l'air pilot standing 2.
it could help you also to paint the pilot provided inside the KH box.

The overall can be also in beige colour. Sometimes, you will find other and additional squadron patches as a french flag generaly on the left shoulder (but could be the right shoulder)

As the KH mirage 2000 is now out, I added a 5 view colourization in Reedoak website to the french armée de l'air pilot standing 2.
it could help you also to paint the pilot provided inside the KH box.

The overall can be also in beige colour. Sometimes, you will find other and additional squadron patches as a french flag generaly on the left shoulder (but could be the right shoulder)

Will look the intake trunking closer also, and I have a 2000 reachable 1 hour drive from here. However, because of the 'mouses' (intake cones) and the maybe half an inch long intakes, the absence of trunking will be hidden in most of the angles of view.
