  1. Nice work, Dale! Kev
  2. Excellent work, Ernest! Kev
  3. I think your engine looks fantastic, Brett! I wish mine came out as nicely. Kev
  4. Actually, I suspect Jack is right in suggesting that the SAC stuff is more useful in smaller scales, and I suspect that's were all the sales are. Kev
  5. Howdy folks, An overdue but rather massive What's New update today. Enjoy! Kev
  6. And here it is! https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=3405 Kev
  7. And here it is, Aaron! https://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=3404 Kev
  8. Well, now's as good a time as any! Stand by... Kev
  9. What a fantastic build, John! One of the most impressive Corsair models I've seen. May I publish it on the website? Kev
  10. Great looking figure, Norbert! It might be worthwhile for you to start posting each new pilot figure into its own new thread, as this one is now 52 pages long, making it quite difficult to find earlier announcements quickly. Kev
  11. Whenever I spend a bit of time working on smaller scale kits, and return to 1/32 scale, I always find them huge in comparison. And then I quickly get used to them, and they don't seem so big any more. If I venture back to a smaller scale, they seem tiny! And the cycle repeats. I remember poring over the contents of HK's B-17 kit for my review, and upon returning to the bench to work on the LSP Corsair I was building at the time, it suddenly felt like I was building a 1/48 scale kit. Kev
  12. Nice tip, Chek! Wouldn't it be easier to drill the part first, before painting it, though? Kev
  13. Yep! Just make sure that the enamel is fully cured before you do. Not doing so is about the only circumstance that you're likely to see problems with. Kev
  14. Howdy folks, Just a heads-up that another upgrade for the forum software has become available, so I plan to run it some time over the weekend. As usual, I'll try to give everyone as much notice as I can. Kev
  15. Thanks for the comments, fellas. Hopefully I can now get back to some of my stalled aircraft builds! Kev
  16. I also use the Tamiya White Primer for my airliner builds, and I find the coverage to be excellent for a white pigment. It also means that if I'm happy with the primer coat, it also serves at the top coat for a lot of builds. Kev
  17. We need to get these published on the main website, Thierry, rather than having them buried in the forums. Kev
