  1. Hi Andy They're coming up after the P-61 sets are ready to go. Do you need G-2 cockpit foot pans as well? They're free for the asking. Cheers, Damian

  4. Another beautiful build by Dirk Devijver of the Special Hobby Tempest Mk. V, using set 32DET1003 of 1ManArmy airbrush stencils. Entirely made without decals ( so no more glossing needed ) Natural and authentic look Weatherable Innovating masking concept
  5. Sad, so sad to hear of JCM's passing. One of the few that persevered and brought the history and development of the 109 into focus for the rest of us. Condolences to his family and friends. Damian
  6. Just placed an order. FW 190 Radial engine paint, markings, and production: NDW PS I'm not affiliated with author or Amazon

  8. Love what you're doing here, Chris! Great modeling skills on display. Cheers, Damian
  9. I, for one, consider myself a somewhat advanced modeler having built from 1/72 to 1:1 scale in my business with some success. My thought is what Steve has done is outstanding work. Advanced professional modelers don't always have to reinvent the wheel when working on a project; aftermarket can be of great assistance. Taking a purist approach is OK with me, however getting on a high horse about it is considered rude in a vendor's thread introducing a product. And yes, I read your caveat. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Cheers, Damian
  10. Wonder if anyone would be interested in resin versions of the Tamiya caps? Cheers, Damian
  11. Never too early to ask for a Hs 126!

  13. Never been a Hurricane fan, but you've sure piqued my interest in one, Quang. Very nice work! Cheers, Damian
  14. Out of curiosity what's with the "pervert" thing in the title of your thread? Did I miss something?
  15. Looking for something other than BSI - have had mixed results. Will give gel a try. Cheers, Damian
  16. For that price what's not to like? Ordered to see what's what. Thanks for the link, Tim. Cheers, Damian
  17. Mike's tail shots are good examples of the vertical tailplane attachment. The other end of the wire was attached to a piece of twine about 8"(?) in length which in turn attached to the fuselage, as Mike says, at the first panel. I know I have an image of this, but darned if I can find it. HTH, Damian
  18. The wing tip tapes differed in color, red primer, white to off-white or camouflage color. Really depends if you have references to the a/c you're depicting. Most common I've seen is white or camouflage. These two images indicate by overspray the tape was painted a camouflage color: Your results may vary. Cheers, Damian
