  1. Thanks Ricardo! Hope mine ships soon...
  2. Both good choices, 'though I really have a soft spot for "Danger Mouse/Dallas Dhu". Loved that show . Looking forward to this one!
  3. Another winner, John and Kev! I really enjoyed this volume, especially the very detailed section on painting and finishing. My favorite part about John's works are his finishes, which are spectacular - as we have all seen many times in these forums. He really brings a model to life. If anybody is still sitting on the fence over purchasing one of these e-books from KLP, start with this one. You won't be disappointed. Cheers, Rockie
  4. A state of the art Cayuse in the one true scale? Awesome! Anybody need a slightly started Revell kit?
  5. Hi all, My apologies for the lack of updates but life/death/work have kind of knocked the wind out of my sails. My dear sister-in-law Beverly passed away at the end of October, and my brother Bruce, her husband, just was not able to go on without her. He died of heart failure in early January. Suddenly, I find myself really feeling my age. On the work front (I work for the Postal Service, my "retirement gig" after a career in state service) at my office we have had four employees quit or relocate in the last three months, and at 65 years old I find myself working 10 hour days six says week - which seems much harder now than when I was younger. All in all, I just feel very tired. Anyway, sorry to whine but I wanted you all to know I am still here in spirit, and I do hope to get back to work on the Hunter soon. I would appreciate it if the moderators would move my posts to the work-in-progress section when the group build ends. Best regards, Rockie
  6. Sweet! Last year I read "Messerschmitt Roulette" in which Wing Commander Geoffrey Morley-Mower detailed his experiences flying Recce Hurricanes in the Western Desert during 1941-42, and it really peaked my interest in building a PR Hurricane. I am really looking forward to your release... I am also very happy to hear that your health is improving! Best Regards, Rockie
  7. Hi Rhodie, I will be doing the earlier scheme in the mid '60s standard RAF colors of Dark Green and Dark Sea Grey uppers with High Speed Silver undersurfaces. If I recall correctly, the Dark Earth replaced the DSG and HSS in the early '70s. You are making great progress on your O-2 (wish I could say the same ). Cheers, Rockie
