got some time tonight

 

added fishplates, really need someone to make a nice set of vinyl ones

glued the 'pit in

painted the inner wing which is visible through my now open floor

went to add some pigment to represent dried dirt and mud from the pilots boots......and this happened

all over my bench, my pants, my shirt, the floor and the wing

taking this as a sign i'd angered the modelling gods I stopped, did a load of laundry and poured a bourbon....

 

luckily this giant mess is not easily seen...I did some clean up and added a wash or two with some salt then walked the 'F away

Buffalo is a great choice.

Larceny is also a good one, so is Temptation.

If you like Rye's (my fav) then Redemption is a must try!

 

 Yep, Larceny is my next taste test. I've been trying a lot of them, Four Roses is pretty good. I'll put Redemption and Temptation on the list! Thanks....

off to photograph a musical tonight

then to bed

if I can get my edits done early enough tomorrow night I will start on the 22 'fishplates' for the tail.

Going to use alum. furnace tap as styrene is too thck

 

Aluminum tape is a great idea, Shawn.
