Guest
You would be better off with the Revell as far as pricing goes. It is a repop with decals and a few resin bits. Or better yet a Tamy kit. But now there are a lot of AM for the Revell kits.....Harv
andromeda673
thank you for the heads up Harv, I really can't wait for the revel kit to get released in Nov!
Ryan
Ok so here is a proper build starting shot! image by The 3rd Placer, on Flickr The kit of course is a Revell re-box with new decals, a metal Pitot and AOA sensor, and lastly a bag of resin parts to bring it to ROKAF standard. The reference book are a mixture of old and new....plenty of pics between the 3 of them! That $20 bag of resin was acquired from a model show. Not sure how much of it i'll use, some of the parts look like cast off re-pops. Further I have a Sierra Hotel nose and a drawer full of resin Phantom seats i'll use. jmel
Yep agreed, that's why I bought it! Many apologies! Ryan I'm totally joking. Every reference book is valuable. No book can cover every imaginable angle, and Murphy's Law always applies--if it is the angle you need, it won't be found anywhere. Ryan
Getting the wallet warmed up as well for the build. Does anyone know or have tried to fit the Eduard Brassin Exhaust to the Revell F-4's? Also is there a dedicated Revell intake set out there?
