LSP_K2
you going OOB with this Kev? It would have been entirely OOB, but owing to some of my chatter in another thread, our own Brian (Out2gtcha), is graciously sending me a resin '190 seat with molded on belts, my preferred type of item, as far as seats are concerned. I've already ripped out the kit seat in anticipation of installing this new one. Out2gtcha
LSP_K2
I don't recall if the cooling louvers on the sides were open or not on the Hasegawa kit, but they certainly are on the Revell kit. A few passes with the Flexi-File belt, should clean it up just great. And they are not. This is the Hasegawa Fw 190A-8 fuselage.
LSP_K2
Hasegawa wheels are also excellent, but tires are tread-less. Iain

dodgem37
You are blasting thru on this build! If I may. The contrast between the seat and seat wrinkles seems high to me. Maybe a once over with a thinned seat color as a softener? '. . . but tires are tread-less.' Is that not right? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark LSP_K2, sandokan and Gazzas

Out2gtcha
Looking good so far K2! The seat should be there Monday, so it appears it should drop right in after some paint LSP_K2

Sincerely, Mark That seat was never finished being painted, and has been ripped out anyway, in readiness for the new seat. As to the tires, I'm certainly no authority, but I expect that either one may be correct, I just prefer the ones with treads. LSP_K2
More Hasegawa/Revell comparisons. The Hasegawa engine is but a shadow of the Revell example; meaningless to me, as I generally don't display engines anyway, but still,... LSP_K2
New seat arrived today, and looks so much better than the kit seat. Thanks a ton, Brian, I really appreciate this. sandokan, Iain, Victor K2 and 2 others
LSP_K2
Interestingly enough, neither the Hasegawa or Revell kit offer anything in the way of an oxygen regulator for the 'pit. Odd.

LSP_K2
Looks good Kev! Seat looks like it fits really well It does indeed. It sits a bit low, I think, but I can easily shim that.
MikeMaben
Interestingly enough, neither the Hasegawa or Revell kit offer anything in the way of an oxygen regulator for the 'pit. Odd. Hey Kevin, the oxygen regulator instruments are on the lower right hand side of the IP. Looks like a hose fitting and a gauge and a small handle. http://www.aerocockpit.com/focke-wulf-fw-190-a hth
