thierry laurent
Well, if there is a VERY positive aspect it is the fact Eduard is releasing another 1/32 kit even if this is based on an existing mold made by somebody else... Guest Vulcan32
Good to have friends in Czech Republic, so I won´t miss these kits. For the prices: got their re-boxed 1/48 Draken with all the resin and PE for €35,- in CR, that´s pretty cheap. mpk and reconspit
Jasta 14 addict
Really good news. I've got the Trumpeter P-47D, but i really like to get my hands on a Eduard one, so again something to look forward. Greetz Danny

Guest The Southern Bandit
One detail I picked up from that painting (I assume its a painting?) of "Dottie Mae" was the exhaust staining on the inner undercarriage door, built a couple of Tamiya 1/48 P47's and never thought to do that. Was the door close enough for that to happen or just a bit of artistic license I wonder ? Dave Williams
Some photos show a little bit of staining on the front of the inner gear door, but this seems a little overdone. It may not necessarily be exhaust staining. Could also be leaked oil coming from the oil cooler vents on the side of the nose in front of the waste gates. mpk
Martinnfb
Thunderbolt at FHM has the door burned to metal, it was the first thing I noticed. Raw metal guys!
DeanKB
Find it a little difficult to get excited about this - the components are already available, is it just not a re-popped Hasegawa kit, new decals, a stripped down BigEd set & some resin? Dave Williams
Thunderbolt at FHM has the door burned to metal, it was the first thing I noticed. Raw metal guys! What is FHM, and are we talking about a warbird, or an aircraft in original service condition? I'm a bit wary of referring to warbirds since some may not have functioning turbochargers and therefore their exhaust patterns may be different. Martinnfb
Soory for the unclear acronym. it is Flying Heritage museum. The condition of this plane is as close to original as possible, so they say. And I can confess that the turbo is running in a very healthy fashion
