williamj
It almost seems like we're in a yellow wing rut, can't stop. Have a very old dog eared Hasegawa BF2C-1 kit and Mike West's F11C-2 resin set.already well into it. Opened the forward cooling vents, dremel and thin sheet..will shortly be giving the Fus. a total re-scribe and rivet work over,Vector engine is done. Will detail the cockpit etc. Cheers Have chosen this one in Willow Green accents.Have the decals. Out2gtcha
Cool! Just acquired this kit. I'll have to check out Mikes conversion, as I like the look of the F11C-2 much better than the BF2C williamj

williamj
Got a link for this set? I am dubious about the wheel/axel/spat assembly. The shape of the spats are fine, but you will have to scratch an axle...this LS set will and does require some extra work on your part, not for the novice. cheers. williamj
Just a bit of progress...I decided to add some sharper detail to the LS resin fuselage, new stringers,re built gear and spats(changed the shape and thinned the legs).adding some detail to cockpit etc. and instead of using the LS lower resin wings ..decided to extend the kit wings at the wing root...this has worked out for the better. we're getting there.
