did you ever get any Korean decals for your build. I have just come across 2 MicroScale sheets in my stash; 32-21 & 32-22. PM me if you are still looking Tony

All depends on your decals that you get. Chopping off the 12" extension on the wing tips only gets you a Canadair Sabre 6 wing, you then have the option of glueing the slats closed and adding a wing fence for a 6-3 hard edge wing, or slice out a section of the wing chord to backdate it to the short chord slatted wing of the 'A','E', & early 'F'. Cheers, Tony

Canadair F-86 wing pylon question
Snowbird3a replied to alaninaustria's topic in Aviation Discussion & Research
The flying 'Hawk One' Sabre 23314, had the tanks on the inboard of the two later positions, as their was problems with the plumbing of the outer hard points. Hawk One's tanks were on Sta 72.25 of a Mitsubishi F-86F-40 wing. Tony -
Canadair F-86 wing pylon question
Snowbird3a replied to alaninaustria's topic in Aviation Discussion & Research
a Canadair hard point position was on Sta 99.5, same position as the North American wing. The positions were moved outboard after F-86F 51-13170, the placement all the kit makers have decided to depict. Cheers, Tony -

Photos of Gonterman’s crash show no bleed through in the wing fabric. This nailing and bleed through are two distinct unrelated matters. Tony
-
I found a reference for nailing the wing fabric, it is page 149 of the Leaman book. I stand corrected. Tony
-
Photos of Gonterman’s 115/17 crash show the inside cockpit fabric— no streaking bleed through. Photos of Pastor’s 121/17 crash show lots of ripped fabric with not an ounce of bleed through. Also, the photo of Voss in the triplane with a headrest, shows some cockpit fabric interior and no bleed through is evident Tony

can you give us a reference for this ??? Tony
