LSP_Kevin
I'm pleased to announce that the next title in our Build Guide Series will feature the 1/32 scale Fw 189 kit from HpH Models. Entitled Building the HpH Fw 189 'Uhu' in 1/32 Scale, and written by our own Jan Gabauer, this eBook will take you through the build process for this complex multi-media kit. Jan's build is exceptional, and shows just what can be achieved with the right approach. Please stay tuned for more news on this release in the coming weeks! Out2gtcha
Good stuff K1, that model was a joy to see come together.......................and IIRC, some of the builds last stages were missed, so the KPL book will seemingly fill in a lot of wanted info on the build. Good news indeed! LSP_Kevin
STWilliams
I've got the AEG guide, it's very good. Not sure about this. The 189 has sold in very small numbers as it's bloody expensive & resin. Are there enough out there to support a book? LSP_Kevin
LSP_Kevin
I've got the AEG guide, it's very good. Not sure about this. The 189 has sold in very small numbers as it's bloody expensive & resin. Are there enough out there to support a book? There's only one way to find out! This will be a relatively modest title compared to the AEG book, and priced accordingly. Hopefully enough people who bought and stashed the kit will also consider it worthwhile to buy the book. If not, I'll have to wear that, and it certainly won't be the end of the world. STWilliams
Well, good luck Kev! I'd say another WNW biplane build would sell well. Many people find them intimidating. The Fokker D.VII, Sopwith Camel or Albatros D.V maybe? Or, in terms of selling, a modern Revell kit like one of the 109's or 190's, as there are thousands upon thousands of them out there. CATCplSlade
Although I would like to have one, that plane is currently outside my budget considering the Lancaster and Ki-45 come first. I would certainly buy this book if I can lay my hands on the plane. However, I do have the Me 410 and would love some help with that one. It's my only resin kit so far and I am of course intimidated. Karim and I are planning another Wingnut Wings title, but haven't settled on a kit yet. He and I are certainly both open to suggestions! Zero77
The build looks amazing. However, i'm very sorry to say that, but i'm not able to read anything more than a few lines of text and a few pictures on a screen. Even a very long review is often too much for me. I'm an old paper kind of guy. LSP_Kevin
LSP_Kevin
I understand, Nicolas. I guess this is the same issue resin kit manufacturers face when modellers tell them they don't like resin kits. Kev Zero77
