Duncan Doenitz
I built the 1:24 G6 and found it a bit "so so". There are plenty of aftermarket improvements which I went for such as decals for the engine, data plates etc. along with a Galland hood. The wheel bays are poor but I now know that the recesses are actually holes IRL. I would have cut them out had I known. Not a bad kit but not worth the money given the awesome Airfix Spitfire at around the same price point. The reason for building it was to sit alongside the MkIX. It has however introduced me to SMS paint and the PL189 light blue works very well. Crosses etc. are painted using easy to make masks and they look terrific. Gazzas
The 1/32 F is actually a G. And the propeller spinner is horribly shaped. I used the kit for spare parts and paint mule. Vitor Costa
Vitor Costa
Hi, thank you all guys. Well I will start looking for the Hasegawa ones then. As I expected no matter the scale it's hard for them to do kits accurately. I presume not all are bad, but... A little bit out of topic, does anyone knows where I can find the Hasegawa P-40N? (In Europe). Thank you all once more
