Ben Brown
I think the only container the British have made that doesn’t leak is the pint beer glass. At least they have their priorities straight! And, since Lucas has been brought up, here’s an illuminated Lucas sign for auction on Bring-A-Trailer. The comments are hilarious: Lucas Illuminated Sign Ben Edited May 1, 2023 by Ben Brown BiggTim, npb748r, MikeC and 1 other 1
Christa
Ah those lovely old Rovers. Thanks for the pics and good sense Michael. My dad said oil dripping British motors, two and four wheels, were a legacy of steam engineering, because loose was better than tight. Was he right? Marina? It was still leaking oil.” pretty funny. P I believe Alan Turing's revolutionary valve and electro-mechanical code-breaking machines did use a modicum of lube. Interested in the tank story. Thank the stars for Hobart's Funnies which provided essential support to the troops. Tony CharmyDown, Alain Gadbois and MikeC
