tucohoward
I have been building in other scales as well the last few years and the Eduard 1/48 109s are a favorite. This one is mostly OOB with the addition of Master barrels and pitot. Jay LSP_Kevin, LSP_Ray, Uncarina and 13 others

tucohoward
Thanks, guys! Joe, it has been a bit. Things are pretty good. Still building 109s but do other things as well. Started building jets in the last couple of years so that's new. Hope you are well. Jay
Uncarina
That looks really impressive Jay. Did you add the rivets? Cheers, Tom tucohoward
tucohoward
Thanks, Tom. The Eduard 109s are riveted. Really wish they would do the G-10 in 1/32. Maybe their 1/32 Emil’s didn’t sell well enough to make them want to try other versions. Jay
James Rademaker
Well done Jay, nice paint job! I really like the scalloping on the forward wing edge. Did you use a mask or freehand? Jim tucohoward

Did you use a mask or freehand? Jim Thanks, James! I definitely use a mask. I take long enough strip of Tamiya tape, stick it to my bench, draw a squiggle down the middle lengthwise, and then cut it with my knife. Gives you a mask for each wing. Most of the pictures I have seen of the late war 109s have this feature as a hard edge so this works well. Jay
James Rademaker
Thanks Jay, I’ll us that technique on my current 109. Jim tucohoward
