F 4 C/D : which AM stuffs

I think this F-4 thread shows a number of points:

1) Tamiya has come a long way.

2) There is plenty of aftermarket items (resin, decals) available for the kit to address its short comings.

3) Given point 2 above, the 32nd scale F-4 series is very popular.

4) With some TLC and aftermarket a nice kit is possible.

Also, don't forget to look over Thierry Phantom tweak list for this kit to determine what corrections you may want to incorporate.

Mark is right, there is something really nice about this kit and I cant put my finger on it....maybe it's just because it's a Phantom?  But I have seen several OOB builds and they impress me every time.

A little TLC and some AM and an even more beautiful model will result.

Which AM ? that could help me

Hi Alain

I am going to limit the AM to Quickboost seats and AB nozzles (have not decided which ones yet) and of course the decals Jennings designed.

In my F-4E I used the Black Box cockpit and after seeing not much is visible I only used resin seats and an Eduard PE IP on the F-4J. It all depends how far you want to go with AM.
