pascal JMW
hello folks I had say when I would open my new box of corsair I put the build here, I begin in my third to corsair tamiya when one loves ,there are not ..... out of box.... only two add harness textile HGW ,much better and realist , and a pair of wheels in resin Eduard (I dont like the rubber wheels) and the décals of barracuda The corsair chosen not still on is 100 % but I think that that is going to be 126 white " tojo eats **** " His tired and dirty camouflage attracts me... I hope that you will forgive my bad English......... cheers Pascal Lothar, Uncarina and Shaka HI
Guest
Your english is just fine Pascal. Great to see another built. Few going on as we speak including my own. So looking forward to what you do with yours......Harv
dennismcc
This should be interesting, that looks a rather battered airframe. Cheers Dennis
David Hansen
This will be interesting to watch. Another Corsair that requires a fair amount of artistic interpretation. I too bought a set of the Eduard Brassin tyres for comparison purposes to the Barracuda ones. I like Eduard's "Cruciform" tread pattern. I've been approached to build yet ANOTHER Birdcage, but i think i need a rest from 32nd scale models for a while. I'm committed to building a Tamiya F-14, and i have a couple of 72nd and 48th scale Corsairs i'd like to wrap up and put in the books, so to speak. I will be watching with interest. -d-

Reuben L. Hernandez
Looking great! keep up the great work. Looking forward to your build log. LSP member Matt McDougal (Doogs) built this same exact plane. Very, very nice and weathered extremely nice. He has a building blog on his site and maybe here if you need any inspiration and helpful tips. https://doogsmodels.com/completed-builds/completed-builds-aircraft/completed-builds-132-aircraft/chance-vought-f4u-1-corsair/ I was looking for an interesting plane to build myself when I came across Matt's build. Right then and there I knew I would be building this scheme. Edited December 11, 2016 by Reuben L. Hernandez

David Hansen
Pascal, i tried to use the HGW harnesses, but i was put off by what seemed like pretty minimalist and hard to follow instructions on how to rig them. Do you plan on any kind of step by step narrative on doing this? The belts themselves are awesome but i found the instructions decidedly user unfriendly. david
