Shawn M
I've run into a few research road blocks during this build, if it were a replica or kit car it'd be easy but since Im trying to keep it accurate not so much. I found a great website where an individual hand crafts accurate Cobra's and he's been a great help. Daniel460
Looks great Shawn, all the pretty bits make it better and better! Glad you are getting close to finishing.....I keep wanting to get mine down and get started on it! Just what I need is another started kit! Great find on that Chuck Cobra link! He was on a forum some years ago and dropped off and started his own site and I lost his build thread. Dan Shawn M
Shawn M
thanks gang, its very exciting at the moment as these last bits are a real challenge. As Im fitting the wheels I noticed the chassis is warped, gonna have to figure out how to level the rear up. Im about to wrap up the "hood" clamshell with all of its glazing. While I'd love to complete this today Im not sure how much work the passengers rear will need to square up.
Shawn M
figured out the suspension, just added a little wedge above the shock on that side, voila! All 4 wheels are on now, rear brake ducts are drying as are the head light covers. 5 parts remain to be attached before I can say its completed. Dont f*&k it up now Shawn!
