Charlie19
So finally manages to get my first post up on LSP! This 109 was commissioned for a friend of a friend. Great kit and a thoroughly enjoyable build! I forgot to build the 3 piece cowling before taking the overhead photo. The base was hand made using strips of birch ply and stained using coffee and Tamiya weathering pastels. The aluminium eagle was attached to a piece of Kingwood. http:// http:// andromeda673, Girlscanplay2, D.B. Andrus and 5 others
chuck540z3
Beautiful paint job and weathering. You just nailed it! The wormy blotches on the sides are just right for scale and realism. Charlie19

Charlie19
Hi mal, I recall thinning some of the areas inside to accommodate the sides of the engine and just snipped the front parts of the engine bearers off as you can't see in anyway. No trouble at all really and didn't take much time. Mal_Belford
