Here Blue Nose sweethearts Meyer's Maulers painted, yet I want to apply some paler streaks in order to create volume.

By the way the base of the propeller blades are painted blue on purpose, reference pictures of Preddys Cripes A' Mighty 2rd show this. I was painted on the field and spinner was not removed.

By cutting narrow stripes of masking tape we can steer them and create the profile of the blue color nose. I thought it would be more difficult.

OUTSTANDING! Awesome work on the Alclad NMF. Sure looks and feels familiar. No doubt about it, you have the touch.

Keep 'em coming

This looks absolutely great!

Fantastic masking and painting. Which color did you use for the blue?

Regards,

Markus

Thank you folks for the nice words,

Markus I used Tamiya XF-8 Flat Blue as a base color and then random streaks of a paler mix of XF-8 + XF-2 Flat White.

Cheers
