jeroenpeters
Looking great. Man, How many water/underwater vessel subjects have you got on the go now? Thnx Ron, I've finished (yes yes) the 1/35 Seehund and the Verlinden 1/35 Hecht. I'm working on the 1/35 Verlinden Biber, the 1/144 Revell U-VII with PE upgrade, the conning tower offcourse, a 1/350 Revell U-VII with PE upgrade, I'd like to start the 1/144 ICM type IIb (but a PE upgrade has not been released yet) a 1/35 Neger, hmmmm, that's it. Honestly. My girlfriend though the S100 was a sub as well. But it isn't. So that makes 1 water vessel. Oh, and the Italeri Barchino. And the MIG production PG117. That's really it. Please don't ask me how many planes I've got on the go... Cheers, Jeroen Edited April 9, 2011 by jeroenpeters

Out2gtcha
Wow, Jeroen, the pose and paint on that figure is VERY realistic. Very believable and convincing looking. Well done! Cheers, Brian
jeroenpeters
Hi all, Thnx for your replies. this weekend I hope to tackle some issues I've been struggling with. First one is attaching the U-boat shield that will adorn the base. I'll solder two brackets on the back that should fit into two drilled holes in the wooden base. Difficult to explain, so here's a pic. and then, I will embark into a first for me. Figure painting. Got this baby to go along with the 1/144 boat and 1/32 tower. A 1/10 bust. I did not paint mine yet, but this is what it should look like. I hope... I wish! Please feel free to post any U-boat models you've got under this topic! jeroenpeters
All soldered up and smeared with black oil paint to accentuate the lines in this shield. Ready to go on! Cheers, Jeroen
Jamme
Hello Jeroen. I'm shure you will paint a beautifull figure. You have the skills to do it I Have 2 subs started but far from being finished...... The Revell VIIC in 1/72 and the Special Navy XXIII also in 1/72. Will try to make a little work on it one of these days....but will finish the Dragon's Mustang first. Cheers, Jamme
jeroenpeters
Hi Jamme, The Special Navy type II and XXIII are two kits on my wishlist. So is the Revell 1/72 VII actually. Would love to see some progress shots when you've finished your mustang. I've added the second figure on the tower. Working on mister three. And I am finally finished with drilling out the vents. Took some time and patience. I've opened up the torpedo loading hole (that sounds weird...). There's a lot of PE to detail this baby. When I've finished the tower, I'll make some better pics with my Sony Alpha. Till then you'll have to do with my girlfriends' crummy cam! A.Wolf Grant
I suppose it's better than being 'armless !... As always, looking really good .. I'm amazed you've got any furniture, or anything else for that matter, in your house what with all the models you have to display - where on earth do you put them all??? Grant. jeroenpeters
Hi Obant, Thnx again! I've I've got a pretty roomy house, no kids and a girlfriend that handcrafts too. That puts me in a good position to make deals on cupboard space. Another trick is to stop working on a model, juuuust before you finish it. That way you don't have to display it Here's a shot of mister third wheel... with hands... and binoculars... Almooooost finished!
