Thnx Jamme!

Here are some weathering - in - progress shots.

Lots of washes and after shading with the airbrush.

It's getting there. Can't wait to spray the final satin coat

which should really bring this matt beast to live...

Cheers,

Jeroen

Great work Jeroen. Any chance of a pic of each of the figures, might see if I can get some for my Arado with catapult. I too have a S-100 so will be following that build closely, G-Factor make some propellers... I think I'm going to mount mine so it gives the impression of the boat stern up and turning slightly in the water.

That's actually a very good idea, mounting it like it's turning at full speed!

Here's a link to a finished model, showing the figures pretty good: link

If I was building the S-100 as a seaworthy model, I'd buy the brass props.

Cheers,

Jeroen

awsome work

how long would the hull be in 1:32?

Hi there,

I've seen the full hull version in real life. It's huge... The thing is 1.97 meters in length (6'3").

It's out of production now, due to it's size and probable low selling rate. About 1800 euro's.... 2500 dollars...

Cheers,

Jeroen

The compass decal was not usable. I've re-made the compass with various scratched items and drew a new decal in illustrator

to a level where my printer was able to perform. The dial is 2,8 mm in diameter. Here's a pic:
