Looks like he's itching to get that star painted on there Matt.

Best get cracking the Col. was not known for his patience.

May have to trade that clip board for a can of red spray paint!

You are very right Barry, the Colonel can be a cruel taskmaster. I am waiting for the primer to dry on the first seat so I can paint. Hmmm, I wonder if I can get a spray can in that right hand???

The Colonel has been hassling me as to why his aircraft is not ready...

I painted up one of the Cutting Edge Martin Baker Mk 5 seats that Barry so generously sent me. Thanks Barry!!! Now Col. Olds has somewhere to sit.

After finding a picture of the Colonel in his flight helmet, I could not resist and cobbed one up to sit on his seat.

The seat looks great Matt. :goodjob:

What did you use for the data plate?

Don't think that gets you off the hook!

Thanks Barry, the data plate is from Mike Grant's instruments decal sheet. Best looking data plates ever. I think. Just the right sheen. To me they look like the real deal.

Had a little time to work on the cockpit so I figured I would post what I have so far.

There needed to be a bit of extra stuff in the Tamiya pit so out comes the styrene.

The kit rudder pedals did not look at all like the real deal. Not that mine do but they are a bit closer.

They will barely show once the ip is in place, oh well.

Working on a bit of the stuff on the rear shelves as well.

The front office needs a bit of sprucing up as well. I made the quilted insulation panels out of foil but they will be invisible when the seat is in.

The Colonel is trying to speed me along. I told him he better watch it. I am a LOT bigger than he is!

Lots more to do that won't show but I am having fun and that's what counts.
