Carl, thanks! I appreciate it. I'm specifically interested in interior colors. Though this isn't an authoritative reference, it's a great rendering: https://www.turbosquid.com/HDView/Index.cfm/ID/750289/r/2/i/1 Cheers, Tom

Kevin, Late to the party, not the first time! I thought you might be interested in Scooby Doo's comments, if you haven't read them already: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=63375&page=2&hl=scooby&do=findComment&comment=815874 In particular, his observation in post #25: "As well, at the time of the accident the rear windows were faired over with the field modified turtleneck conversion." Hope this helps! Tom

I just ordered the Kitty Hawk AH-6/MH-6 kit. Do you have any recommendations for references? I'm not seeing much in the way of color call-outs (cockpit, etc) from the online instructions here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10490885/10/1 Thanks! Tom

Chuck, Absolutely most comprehensive and detailed primer about how to apply decals I've read in decades of modeling. Thank you so much for sharing this, and please consider populating a book with primers like this. Cheers, Tom -

Kirk, Thank You! I'd love to see you work your magic on this particular jet, and I've really enjoyed your build. Jim, thanks! You are very kind. There are so many great schemes for this jet, and it doesn't take up too much more room in the display case than a WWII fighter. I see another in my future! Cheers, Tom

Really nice, and great choice of subject. What metallic paints did you use? Cheers, Tom

It would be great to see you work your magic on this! Rueben, you are very kind! This is my first Tamiya F-16 build, and it was really well-engineered and simple to assemble, especially compared to more involved offerings like their Corsair and Mosquito. I agree, the F-16 has many great schemes. Cheers, Tom

Thank you! Tamiya paint, custom mixed. Cheers, Tom

Mike, Excellent work! I love the cockpit and engine in particular. Cheers, Tom

Alain, thank you very much! I don't have a dedicated photobooth, so I'm not always able to set up the portable unit. Gazzas, thanks! Cheers, Tom

Brian, thanks! I actually had a mishap with the masks, my own doing: I applied them, then left for a two week vacation. When I returned to the build, the mask adhesive stuck, and I had a heck of a time removing the gummy residue. I was lucky... Jennings, thank you! I hadn't seen that scheme until you mentioned it, and it sure is attractive. Cheers, Tom
