Tamiya F-14D VF-11, Brown Splinter Temp Scheme
mattcour replied to Marcel111's topic in Works in Progress
Cool stuff! The wing lights and the nozzles are superb!! -
Looking forward to see how it looks now

Beautiful progress!
-
The nozzles are great!!

I will make a wild guess here: What if they bring all the McDonnell line starting from the FH-1, then the FH-2 Banshee, then the FH-3 and the F-101 Voodoo and finally a Phantom II ? Yes, I am day dreaming I know but only the FH-1 of that line is showcased on their website and neither the Viggen nor the Draken is there, so I can always guess they may have some hidden ones under their belt. Fingers crossed!

+1 Panther and Cougar would be great, especially the recce version of the Cougar!

Real excellent result! That was one of the things I was wondering about the kit when I ordered. What comes with it is already ok but your extra work has made it double-better. I'll follow the same process, thank you for sharing it.

Excellent work on the clear parts Aigore!
-
Excellent modelling!!

Lovely Tomcat, that is becoming. I may be wrong but I think the radomes come without paint but a coating, like the ones of the F-16s. Weathering makes them change their "colours" in time, so the colour of your choice may change depending on how dirty and worn out you wish to make the entire model.

Stellar paint job! That scheme makes the Viggen double beautiful imho and you have done great with that. And I think this is the first one to have a completed Fields and Meadows scheme, so hats off for that as well On the other hand I'd echo what has been said about the radome, assuming accuracy is not neglected in your build.

Lovely work Aigore... This thing is really huge I had built an F-104, which I think is about the same length but the Viggen looks just more... well... chunky? fat? beefed up?... or whatever is the right word Not to compare the wings with the Starfigher of course but the fuselage shape really adds to the robust look. Keep up the good work, this is going to be "huge" when finished!

3 Viggen build threads on page 1 ...

Wow!! That's like the planets in the solar system lining up in every 400 years or something like that -
More than a stellar build Rainer!! Exceptional detailing indeed!
-
As a first row audience I must say the build is progressing so well

Sir, you'd better stop somewhere here because this detailing must be discouraging rather than inspiring for lot of modelers including me
-
Cool!
-
Now that is becoming a Viggen... and a fantastic one
-
Nice build!

That is so beautiful work!
