  1. so i was intending to do this as a simple build, straight from the box,but then i seen the front console from yahu and the seatbelts from radu and before you know it im buying tiny balls to fill in every rivet
  2. got a set myself and whilst sheets a and b were ok ,sheet c had some issues with the colour of the yellows on the sheet, being closer to mustard than yellow,a few emails later and i got a reply promising a replacement sheet c. fingers crossed that this is indeed a glitch in the printing process ! mostly bought it for the stencils ,still think we need a generic stencil sheet as im currently bashing together a tornado f3 and there are no stencils available for that!
  3. currently bashing together two crew for my tornado builds. still look rougher than a badgers arse, but im getting there. what do you guys think.would there be any interest in these?
  4. joel i did prime the intakes, they looked super smooth,so i went ahead with the white, thats when i noticed all the flaws? the white showed up flaws that just didnt show with the primer coat? might have to start using white before the topcoats!
  5. thanks mate ,but after spending all that time sanding, filling and painting those intakes, there is no way im not showing them off!! and besides ,im going for an in flight/wheels retracting pose,so intake covers are out,as are the pylons, display aircraft tend not to carry them the only resin im using is the aries burner cans, which are stunning!
  6. will be following this ,as its the same as mine!! (minus most of the resin) http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=67873&hl=
  7. right ,not much to show, been banging my head against a wall with this one sprayed the intakes with vallejo acrylic white, first time using it and wasn't too impressed. it also showed up all the flaws in what i thought was a smooth sanding job,so it was out with the sanding sticks again, thankfully i seem to have cracked it now also i'm almost finished the pilot ,been working on the oxygen mask ,still a few wee bits to go on it but im happy with the overall shape, sorry for the lousy pictures ,but i'm using my phone for this intakes first the pilot well ,thats all for now folks
  8. thanks guys been sanding those intakes for the past month ,finally got them smooth enought for my liking, best part is,you won't be able to see most of it still ,i will get a coat of paint on this weekend and maybe even get the wings on! concentrating on the pilot figure at the moment just got an oxygen mask and a left arm and hand to finish him off
  9. hi all! well here goes,my first w.i.p here ,please be gentle right ,i started this some time ago, with the intention of it being a quick build(aren't they all?) first thing i wanted to do was put in full lenght air intakes, well three months ,some plumbers piping, putty and more sanding and polishing than a scottish curling team ,i was left with passable intakes
