A few of the Armour Accessory companies usually have these John, but they are usually 1/35, but you can get away with that, as Rick said, Verlinden used to do them, but dont know if they're still availiable...you should be able to find something.

Great news John!..I too hope everything goes well! Cheer's, Jeff.

These model company names get stranger and stranger....they may have got more business if they called it "Blue Pills"

Looks great Brian!.....you had more success than I did with my project a few months back, ....I painted up a 1/72 Humpback and was going to place it in a block of resin for an ocean dio, I suspended the Whale which is 3D printed and very light, from thin fishing line from the top of the form work, but as I poured the resin in, it just kept rising to the top, that was fail No.1, then as the form work filled up, it started leaking out of the bottom, as I only used modelling clay to seal it off, and it was not strong enough to hold that much resin in, that was fail No.2. A major and very costly, (for the deep pour resin), failure on all accounts! This is how it ended up.. Cheer's, Jeff.

Any news about the Tamiya 1:32 scale F-22 Raptor ?
Jeff T replied to PieterGSXR's topic in LSP Discussion
Fair enough, I still think its just speculation, and Tamiya work in strange ways, and do what they want to, but thank you again for the explanation. -

So under that theory Tony, their F-16's must have been bad seller's then!....I find that hard to believe, but thank you for the explanation... -

How does anyone know that Tamiya's sales of the Mosquito were poor, is this information put out by them?...knowing Tamiya, I wouldn't think they would disclose such a thing. It seems as though its common knowledge,.... is this info disclosed by distributors or Internet shops?...it was the same for Wingnut Wings, everyone seemed to know their sales stats. Just curious. -

Can someone explain "Test Shots" to me please?
Jeff T replied to Jeff T's topic in General Discussion
Pete and Kev, thanks a lot for the explanations about the process, much clearer to me now....been in the hobby for years, and never really knew exactly what the process was. Cheer's, Jeff. -
Hey all, Probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering, whenever I see pics of a new model that is being released, and it starts copping a bit of flack, its usually said, "oh dont worry, this is only a test shot".....so, my question is, what is the test shot made from?...Is it made from a totally different mold to the actual release?....I thought these mold's were very expensive to make, I didn't think they would make a mold to produce a rough example, and then cut a new one for the final one, but, I know nothing about the process. Cheer's, Jeff.

Brilliant work Bill! I can't believe I was doing one when you started this one, but after having trouble with Alclad lifting off mine all over the place, and the absolutely horrendous decals that came with the Montex Mask Scheme I was doing, I stripped it, put it on the shelf of doom, and haven't looked at it since,....full respect to you for persevering with this build, through all the ups and down's, I wish I had your commitment! Well done! Cheer's, Jeff.
