  1. Maybe it is 'wrong' to have the screens ON. But it sure looks good, i would leave it this way and let the rivetcounters do their rivetting.
  2. Wauw, that's a lot of difference! Not very 'Tamiya' those ejector pins,....
  3. Thank you for posting this! I must say that for plastic standards this Tamiya pit is of very good quality! Espcially the seat is very nice in my eyes. But offcourse it still is no match to your resin pit.
  4. I'm sorry, youre right. I didn't read everything yet, but based it on the picture on the first page...
  5. Very nice stuff! I am actually thinking of buying this same kit after my birthday, and i am still in doubt about buying it with the Aires cockpit set which you have. Is it too much to ask if you show the original pit next to the Aires? greetings Heico
  6. Looking nice, especially the barrels! I remember the plastic ones being a pain in the ass to get nice and clean.
  7. Absolutely stunning job! Love the colour, love the (light) weathering, good weapon loadout... Now i really want one
  8. Nice work so far. Espcially lover your pit. I knew the trick you are showing, but somehow it never works for me... But the fact to do it inside like you are showing somehow never came up in my mind...
  9. Never mucht of a fan of the P-47, but you could say i am seeing the light coming in slowly after recently seeing a P with cammo painted on and now this big monster!! *Adding to wish-list...
  10. It's an ugly aircraft!! But you are doing a nice job on making it pretty
  11. Looking really great so far! A little refference next to it would be nice to see how bit it really is... How is the fitting?
  12. Holy C... Some of the pictures are looking like you took them on an actual plane.
  13. Wauw, that pit looks stunning! It allmost makes me wanne jump in and fly away...
  14. Nice! So you're building planes for real and in scale ( what a live )
  15. Really great work on the pit, keep it up with the rest!
  16. I am really looking forward to what you will be doing with this big boy!
  17. Really nice work! I saw this kit standing at the Euro Scale Modelling in Nieuwegein Holland last saturday... Big box!! But it was a bit too expensive for my wallet.
  18. Woow! What an effort you're putting in... What's next? 1/1 scale?
  19. Really great! The more i look at your work, the more i would like to get my hands on my own
  20. This brings a lot more life to the plane! Keep it up
  21. Thanks for the compliment Martin! Thanks on the landinggear tip too, it is offcourse a big plane, but my first impression was that it could maybe hold. Looks like i'll have to place some metal pins in it or something. Again my compliments for yours, i like the soft touch of the colouring. Maybe i read over it, maybe not, but which colours did you use?
  22. What did you think about the overall build? I am building this one right now but im having a lot of trouble with the 2 big pieces putting it together. There is a lot of tension... About your work: i absolutely love the colour you put on it with a nice shade coming through. The thing i don't like so much is the (moulding)line on the MG. I really hope i can make mine look somewhat like yours!
  23. Hi Jeroen, Did you make a topic on the JU? Thanks for the compliment! I appreciate it.
  24. Nice size! How is the overall fitting?
