  1. Thanks Ray, not to many pictures off this airframe around but what are available are really interesting Regards.Andy
  2. Thanks Shawn, getting there now and some decent bench time coming up this weekend!! Regards.Andy
  3. Thank you Max, I'm always a bit of a stickler to try and get things like that as close as I can to the real thing! Regards.Andy
  4. Excellent stuff Max, very nice mottling. Also adding those extra tail lights is a but awkward to look right but looks like you have nailed it. Regards.Andy
  5. Looks very good Mike, which compressor did you go for out of interest? Regards.Andy
  6. Looking really good, not sure what colour Not oil you used but looks very nice. Maybe pure black would have been to much? Regards.Andy
  7. Thank you for your comments everyone, managed to get some bench time again after a couple of busy weeks/ weekends and built up and painted the Fug 220 dipoles which are a real pain to assemble. While looking at pictures of 2Z + GB I noticed that one of the lower antlers must have been replaced at some point as one is all black and the other side has red and white warning markings on it as you can see from the picture taken from Die Deutsche Luftwaffe Vol 3. Also after studying pictures of exhaust stains on G-4's I slowly built these up with heavily diluted black/ red-brown paint mix. So I'm thinking I need to add all the sticky out parts now and add a light coat of flat varnish to knock back some shiny areas and then remove all the masking over the clear parts and fingers crossed I've had no paint seep in to the cockpit!! Regards. Andy
  8. His products are amazing, the smoothness of the castings are something else ! Will finish this wonderful project off perfectly Max. Regards.Andy
  9. Nice progress Jan, really like this kit from HpH a d goes together fairly easily. Regards.Andy
  10. Superb progress Max and now for the fun bit. Nice looking scheme as well by the way! Regards.Andy
  11. Excellent stuff Torben, looks like some serious sanding going on there. Regards.Andy
  12. Loved Volume 1 Roger and still have "White 48" to complete and not to far off now. I'm sure Volume 2 will be just as good! Will you be including a decal sheet again with Volume 2? Regards.Andy
  13. From my one and only ZM kit I have had the chance to start building which is their latest offering I am not sure why people are putting their plastic up there next to Tamiiya as it's not there yet by some margin from what I have experienced so far. I would say it's much closer to Revell than Tamiya but that's my own experience from building twin engined aircraft from all three companies. Every one has different opinions on each manufacturer from what they want out of a kit be it accuracy or value for money or whatever. Regards. Andy
  14. Stunning finish. Regards.Andy
  15. Some of those Revell kits are bloody fantastic, Ju 88, He 111, Ar 196 etc, I'm currently building the ZM Ki-45 and honestly I think quality wise it is no better than those Revell kits I've mentioned but everyone has there own opinions. Regards.Andy
  16. Coming along rather nicely Max, fuselage halves together, canopy fitted and it's all the tricky stuff finished ! Regards.Andy
  17. Nice, a cheeky Christmas Duellist release. Like the fact lots of these OOP kits are slowly coming back and spoiling people's extortionate pricing on eBay. Also noticed you can have a full refund if you have already pre ordered the Halberstadt on its own and now just want the Duellist boxing instead which is a good move from WnW . Regards.Andy
  18. Now that Dennis looks very, very nice indeed. Are you going for a work beaten up finish or keeping it clean? Regards.Andy
  19. Looks fantastic Shawn, well done on a great build. Regards.Andy
  20. You are not wrong there Max, I have so many in the stash and not sure what to go for yet? WW I or WW 2, props or jets Regards Andy
  21. Really nice to see an update Matt, superb work as usual, never really been a fan of this airframe but watching yours come together is making me want one now. Regards.Andy
  22. Glad to see you are about sorted in this ar3a Max, if I remember correctly, when I realised there was an issue I decided rear bulkhead would go back as far as necessary for the CO2 rack to sit at the correct angle. Seems like we both have ended up with about the same result! Regards.Andy
  23. Excellent work David, looks pretty mean and you should be very proud of this build. Regards.Andy
  24. Thanks for chiming in Iain and that's exactly what I expected. ZM have definitely dropped the ball here which is a real shame. Easy to fix but......Don't get me wrong as it's a very nice simple kit to build but a little disappointed with my first ZM experience. Then you think £110, it's actually a real bargain of a kit!! Regards.Andy
