  1. I have no inside info at all, but I do seem to recall that variant being in the pipeline. It could be wishful thinking on my part though.
  2. You, Sir, are a madman! Russ would very much approve!
  3. Yep! Now get busy so I can copy everything you do!!
  4. That's as far along as I've seen one. I think I saw some rag-wings built but can't remember where.
  5. First across the finish line for this GB is Keith (Allok) with his ROG Spitfire! Not only has he completed this project with Russ-like speed, he did it while the very ground was shaking out from under him. Congrats on a great looking first entry into the BoB Gallery!! In progress here.
  6. That looks great! Please post a few more pics when you can!
  7. Brilliant work! I'll start saving my pennies!
  8. Those are some very cool schemes. I'll just be happy when a kit is on the selves!
  9. This'll be fun to watch! Looks like a good set of add-ons, too. Gotta love those Corsairs!
  10. Yup. Just what he said.
  11. I'm just waiting for a few of you to get started so I can avoid any problem areas!
  12. And I was just pokin' at everyone a little to join the fun.
  13. Please join the GB and build one.... You too, please!
  14. I believe that Chris is using this thread to get an idea of demand so we can make an appropriate number once everything is ready to roll. We're still waiting for the PE details to be finished, then we have to price everything out (more than one person involved) before we can set a retail price and officially start taking orders. Once everything has a green light we'll be taking orders through the site. As it stands right now it will be PayPal *only* since we're not set-up for direct credit card billing. These will only be available through LSP.
  15. Thanks for the link! I've checked this build out already in preparation for mine. You being farther along will be a big help I'm sure!
  16. I've ordered from them in the past, although it's been a few years. Never had a problem with their service, just found better selections elsewhere. This seems like a really great price!
  17. The more of these kits I see joining, the better I feel about the odds for myself. Now there will be visual instructions going on all around us with tips and such.
  18. Glad to see another Hurricane kit in the build!
  19. If you hit the reply button below a single post it appears just as this post does, with the original post quoted. Using the quote button enables quoting more than one reply. You hit Quote and it turns red, then hit quote again on other posts, then hit the Add Reply button at the very bottom of the thread. All the selected posts appear in your reply. HTH
  20. These go onto matt surfaces much better than they do gloss. They're ink, not decal, and as such require a bit of 'tooth' to adhere to. Since silvering is impossible the lack of gloss is not an issue. You want to add the transfers before a gloss coat, then clear coat for any weathering. The other thing I discovered the hard way is that they respond much better to light pressure than pressing down hard. I started off pressing too hard, then pressed even harder since I thought that was the problem and wrecked a few. As to keeping them in place, I try to leave as much surrounding carrier paper as possible or just apply them off the entire sheet. It makes all those small stencils behave like a well-trained dog! I love dry-transfers and just wish Hobby Decal (or somebody) made more sets!
  21. I sure hope to see some more of these Hurricanes showing up in our BoB Group Build!!! It's been a little sparse over there... JOIN THE GROUP BUILD. THEY ARE FUN!
