Sheesh. I suppose it's the Matchbox (not Revell!) 1/32 SBD and Hasegawa 1/32 A-4E. Bought them from a mate in the Airy Farce, back around 1987 . . . SBD requires a resin engine and PE. I need to design PE for the Kahu mod on the A-4 still.

Had to FF/REV more than once, Paul. I love the ease with which you approach things. I'm looking forward to trying this occult CA and Dental Resin sorcery. Nice touch to shorten the fuz rather than the nose section. I like your flexibility about mods, depending upon kit requirements. Very soothing style, a pleasant contemplation time in my day. You're not far off, Tony. dH used the Mosquito nose for the basis of the T.11. The irony is, I like the compact shape of the FB.5/9. It's a shame the cockpit detail is lost under the canopy, at 1/48th scale. But I did enjoy working on this kit, to discover the minutiae of the trainer. Regards

I am most intrigued by this discussion. Some stuff hitherto unknown has proven most valuable. As I have two of the Revell kit I thought a scenic route through 'Mod Country' was an idea. I tackled a basic fix to the tilt-up problem. Gentlemen, I'm having a time trying to find clear shot sof the radio rack for the TR and components behind the pilot. There's a bunch of stuff on FB/NF variants, even later bomber/PR types. But early bomber variants, squat. I want to finish up a wee 'project'. Regards

Nice. A Ferrari. The F-40 is still my dream car. Although, I would settle for a 355. I have four Tamiya cars, 3 X F1. In a fit of enthusiasm I dragged out the non-F1, a Testarossa, last month. I've had a burr under the blanket to cut open and detail the driver's door. Yes, the Testarossa is considered a 'dog' of the Red Stable. I love it for the styling. Ron. if you know a guy in a car body shop see if they'll fill a small, empty paint bottle with auto clear coat for you. It's very thick and a little definitely goes a long way. Car guys have almost as many tricks as the armour culture! I use a lacquer gloss clear, courtesy of a mate who's an ex-body finisher. I cut it with 1500-grit then use auto polishing paste. It comes up like glass. Picked up the idea from a Fuji TV series, Plamo Tsukurou, all found on YT. Far cheaper than buying the 'Professional Finishing' products out there, too. Regards
