I use them for mixing small quantities of 5-minute epoxy as well as handheld masks and palettes for oil paints.

I guess it would have to be cast with that bulbous gun opening in it.  Well done, sir, well done.

I always thought that the scale of each exposed level was way off; given the immense size of the Death Star, each level seems to be around 50m or more in height!

As regimental and organized as the Emprie is I always found the representation of the under construction Death Star a bit weird.

Seem it would be built more evenly and not as shown. The miniature sure was cool looking though.

I have this kit too as well as a Panther, I think the Stug is coming out at some point.

A nice Sherman family would be awesome from them.

Had an opportunity to access an industrial printer. It has a larger printer bed than mine (upper hull in two pieces, vs. six for mine), prints faster, & to a higher quality (twice the resolution). As you expect from a printer that costs as much as a German luxury car!

After so much time spent printing & tweaking the lower hull, it was good to start designing the winch.

This mounts on the left side, wedged between the fuel tank & the sponson stowage bins.

I'm actually trying to go the other way! I'm not a great fan of resin engines, the WNW engines are ideal for scratchbuilding with

I find I get on better with styrene, it is more versatile and less brittle. This is a WNW engine:

This is exciting news, Meng certainly have the resources and polish to start offering a strong WWI product line.

If it continues we could see many of the more mainstream AC released based on market demand.

I look at it this way...If it IS the WnW mold, then we're in for a treat.  If it's not the WnW mold, we're in for a potential treat.

What goes on between businesses is not only none of OUR business (unless you've  a financial interest in either of the aforementioned companies) it's normally trade secrets that are usually protected with layers of both IT and legal blankets.  If a former employee says it's their widget then it may very well be...the proof, as they say, will be in the plastic.  wait and see... Meng kits are usually VERY reasonably  priced.

If this was the WNW mould, MENG would have said it. Anything associated with WNW is "hot property" right now. Why miss an opportunity to cash-in on the hype?

Makes no difference to me really. Great if it is the WnW DR.1, but if its not and still is a new tool accurate kit, Ill definitely get one. The only reason I personally would even remotely think this may (BIG may there) be the WnW tripe is the timing.

Otherwise, yes, I do believe Meng is capable of tooling their own tripe, and having it be well done. As long as it doest fit like their Me-163.

Dave Johnson suspects it's the Wingnut Wings tooling, but others are seeing differences. Personally, I don't really care one way or the other. Looks a great kit either way, and it's great that WW1 aeromodelling looks set to continue with or without the famed New Zealand player.
