Gigant
This was a very enjoyable build. For paint, I used Testors MM, enamel flat gray as a base-coat/primer lower, acrylic olive drab upper. 100_0585 by Tom Taylor, on Flickr Tom Edited February 20, 2018 by Gigant Uncarina, mustang1989 and mpk

Gigant
As you requested, Gaz: [url=ht This one was done without the flash. I also should do a side-shot showing the rudder markings. In my DVD archives, I have a color WW II documentary "Air Apaches", which the Monogram kit markings included. My color footage where they taxi to their runway, shows no closed windows or guns for the waist positions on any of them, as well as the round escape hatches kept open (which I did not open) because of the tropical heat. They all had their cowling rings painted lemon-yellow also. mpk
Very cool. If I attempted that it'd look like a jigsaw puzzle! Great job! Gigant
Gigant
Very cool. If I attempted that it'd look like a jigsaw puzzle! Great job! To get a feel for this, I would suggest that you start with the smaller/simpler old 1/64 Revell B-25 kit, and don't worry about painting it. But like my P-51 "Butch Baby", it is all hand-brush-painted: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=73458&hl= Edited February 19, 2018 by Gigant mpk

Gigant
1/64?? Mate, I wouldn't be able to see it. Get a magnifier? What I am getting at is easy to build, fewer parts. mustang1989

Gigant
Great work Tom!!! Thank you. Actually the kit is a relatively straightforward, no-problem build, OOB. The big deal was fashioning a weight for the nose by hammering a lead fishing weight into the right shape to fit into the bombardier's tunnel. I really need to add some more photos... Sabre F-86
Nice job. Those Monogram kits were always the best. Gigant
Koralik
On Sunday, I finished the model B-25 Italieri but I chose other painting. Your model looks good. Edited February 22, 2018 by Koralik Gigant
Gigant
On Sunday, I finished the model B-25 Italieri but I chose other painting. Your model looks good. Thank you... Completely hand-bristle brush painted, with Testors MM unmixed, straight from the bottle. It levels beautifully. Nice job. Those Monogram kits were always the best. Thanks, and they still are! They still have this one on the local Hobby Lobby store shelf. On Sunday, I finished the model B-25 Italieri but I chose other painting. Your model looks good. Do some finished photos, and either PM me or post a link here!
Koralik
I think that two photos will be ok. Gigant
