Harrison90
Well, after a almost a year I am back. With my private pilot license in the books and now with a hiatus for me to figure out what I am doing, I thought some modelling would help relax and focus me. This build is for my father who says he will never have time for modelling again, so I get to build it for him. I will also be finishing up my F-15 build that left off a year ago with it missing a canopy but thanks to Bruce on this forum, I have had a replacement one now collecting dust while I was in school. It will be put in place so I can finally finish that kit for good. Cheers everyone and happy holidays. Out2gtcha
I think it was one of the mid-ara Monogram monogram kits that was really a super joy to build. I just knew you'd sniff this one out pretty quick. Yes K2, all that is T-cat. Ever since my brother built the 72nd version of this and I gazed upon her slender form, I was hooked. He left that kit in the room I inherited as a kit at my parents house. Seeing BBMan multiple times then La Patrona didnt help the addiction LSP_K2 and Harrison90

Astro32
Nice! One thing to watch out for, if it really matters, is that the propeller blades are backwards. It's "off" enough for me at least to notice. I built the nightfighter version years ago. Bought the corrected nose, etc., but the blades I just turned around and made sure they had the right washout, or twist, to them. And some resin wheels. The vinyl tires as supplied will eat the plastic. Hope this helps! Harrison90
Harrison90
Thanks everyone for the niceties. Having had quite the busy festive period I am finally able to get back to the work table and have put a bit of paint down and bit of interior weathering. Cheers and happy modelling Edited July 18, 2017 by Harrison90 TaffyMan

Harrison90
Hey sorry for anyone following this build. I have recently moved across the country and was unable to bring any modelling stuff with me. I am going home soon for an airshow and will hopefully get some more on this build done and I can post it once I'm back. Have found my nearest model show as well and will hopefully be attending that this fall. After some turmoil with school and other things I have really started looking at the industry of scale models. The main problem is that I have a very limited idea of where to start. The knowledge I have gained was much thanks to Out2gtcha. However if anyone does have any tips or pointers please feel free to PM me so that we can keep this thread about this entirely way too long of a tigercat build. Thanks again everyone. Hope to be back soon with some updates on this build. Cheers and happy modelling!
Harrison90
On my trip home for an airshow I did manage to get a couple update photos. My next chance will be at Christmas where I hope to finish the model for good. Thanks everyone. Just a pic from the show for fun:
