I cleaned up the body and worked on Lofte 7, nobody gets excited about the link with factory drawings ?  Mark , Heinkel will go on the wall or I can give it to somebody. :)

I slapped the basic shape together from bits that were part of the kit, there will be more detailing involved so don't get excited guys.

And now ,,who can help with a picture of cable work that is related to the bombsight installation including the framework attachment?

A little observation. Doors have no hinges, they slide down the wall into the bomb bay .

Thanks Florin, how would you explain this? I was under impression that those brackets at the edge of the doorway are hinges.

I can see that here, and it appears that the door was unpainted

I do not know what is with these "hinges". But a door could not open enough to get there, especially with a parachute attached to you.

Thank you Florin, the picture is showing the "E" model. For some reason I have this imbedded idea in my head , that I saw hinged door somewhere. Weird. I will dig into the factory drawings of "P" in order to find out what are those odd bracket for.

Cheers

M.

Certainly there is something that looks like hinges, but were they for doors? Or had another use?

I hope I did not get messed up in your project!
